my dream dining room

I am way too giddy over this fictional dining room. I can't imagine a more amazing space for myself. In my opinion (which is the correct opinion), it is the perfect color palate, the perfect mix of old and new: a beautiful space that doesn't take itself too seriously.





The dining chairs are upholstered in the light aqua with a lovely ikat on the backside. Three pendants are centered above the table. My favorite swimming pig is blown-up and framed above the console.

There are few things I love more than flowers. A single flower can turn a frown upside down. I hope these images make you feel as happy as they make me.

This arrangement makes me think of one of best friends, Liz Hostler. Her upcoming wedding is is going to feature citrus and the favors are rosemary infused olive oil.

up on the rooftop

One thing I always get a kick out of it looking up and seeing trees growing from the tops of buildings. I think it's the coolest thing ever! I don't have roof access in my building, nor do I have a green thumb, but I can marvel at those who do.

fun kids rooms

I love blue rooms, green rooms, pink rooms, brown rooms. I love boho rooms, clean rooms, sophisticated rooms, traditional rooms, modern rooms. I love fun rooms most of all. That is why my favorite room in the house to design are kids rooms. Here are some fun kids rooms I adore.

I loooove wallpaper. Unfortunately, wallpaper is not an option for renters. The second I purchase my first home I am buying rolls and rolls of wallpaper.

So, maybe this is more of a mural. Normally, I'm not a big fan of red, but this designer won me over. I love the creativity in this space. It's fun and I love fun!

I'm lucky. I happen to love my neighborhood. The past couple of days the weather has been beautiful. So, I went for a walk and snapped a few photos. Enjoy the loveliness of Park Slope, Brooklyn.
