Interior design and traveling are my two favorite things in the world. Ikat is a pattern that always makes me think of traveling someplace exotic. Needless to say, I can't get enough of this beautiful beautiful pattern.

Dreaming of Mitchell + Gold

Friday one of my errands had me stop by Mitchell + Gold. My current budget only allows me to drool over and fantasize about furniture. This week all of my day dreams revolve around the pieces below.

This little guy would go so perfectly with the visual comport easel lamp I received as a gift.

I just love the size of this console. It is the perfect scale for my little studio entry way. I also think it would be really cool as a nightstand.

Day 1

Today is my very first blog entry...ever. As my blog is named 'the aqua room' I figured why not start by sharing a few of my favorite inspirational photos of aqua/blue rooms. These photos really make me want a vacation. They also make me want a house of my own to paint and renovate and display my love of all things blue.
